Lunula is the only treatment available which both heals damaged nails and eliminates fungus. It has two rotating laser beams. These beams administer light to the cells in the form of energy. The cells have photoreceptors in which convert energy into chemicals already naturally occurring in the body. Hydrogen peroxide is released, a natural anti septic. This starts to break down any fungus. The other chemical produced is nitric oxide. This dilates blood vessels thus increasing blood supply to the area. The increased blood supply helps the body to use its own immune system to fight fungus. It also aids in the regeneration of damaged tissue to enable the affected nail and skin to heal.

𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭

Each treatment cycle lasts for 12 minutes. The foot is placed into the device and receives one cycle of treatment at each appointment. Lunula laser treatment is not harmful.

Based on clinical research studies, nails will require four cycles. After this, further treatment will be dependent upon how your nails have responded. Your treatment plan will be reassessed and adjusted as necessary with your podiatrist.
