๐‚๐จ๐ซ๐ง๐ฌ are caused by pressure or friction over bony areas, such as a joint, and they have a central core which may cause pain if it presses on a nerve. Hard corns are the most common and can be likened to โ€˜walking on a small stoneโ€™. Soft corns occur between the toes and can have a rubber like texture. Seed corns are tiny corns that occur on the bottom of the feet and are usually painless. Neurovascular corns have both nerve fibres and blood vessels and can be very painful.
